Exercise Classes
Whether beginner or advanced, we have a class just right for you.
At HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness, we feature a variety of aerobics classes throughout each month. Classes are held in our Aerobics Studio, which features a cushioned floor. All sessions range from beginner (B), intermediate (I) and advanced (A).
Available classes include:
- Arms & Body Tone – Designed to sculpt the upper body. Strengthening/toning arms, upper back and abdominal muscles. (BI)
- Ballet for Balance – Uses the concepts, movements and footwork of ballet to improve balance and strength. (BI)
- Barre Fit – An energizing, targeting fitness class with elements of dance, functional strength building, Pilates and yoga. (BIA)
- Beginner Balance and Stretch – Geared for the true beginner who may lack balance, coordination and confidence. Small class size and intimate instruction. (B)
- Fitness Foundations – Geared toward the senior citizen, this class offers balance, strength, core, posture, aerobic and stretching. (B)
- Gym Class – An anything goes class taking place in the gymnasium. May include circuits, intervals, cycling, plyometrics, bands, free weights, etc. A fun, calorie torching workout. (IA)
- Lower Body Sculpt – Strengthen, tone and sculpt your glutes, hips, thighs and core using bands, free weights, body weight, steps and more. (BIA)
- HIIGH Fitness – Join the fitness craze that’s getting everyone addicted to being super fit. Cardio peaks and toning choreographed interval training with intense tracks set to music you know and love. (BIA)
- HITT – Burn fat while developing overall lean muscle and a strong core. Workouts consist of a combination of athletic movements, cardio drills and partner work aimed at giving a higher calorie burn at rest and developing more powerful muscle movements. (IA)
- Line Dance –Learn beginner to intermediate line dances. Line dance helps with coordination, balance and memory while offering a low impact cardiovascular workout. (BI)
- Lunch Rush – A 30-minute interval style class -- perfect for those tight on time. You will work up a sweat, burn calories and gain the energy you need to make it through the rest of the day. (BIA)
- Pilates Mat – Focuses on core strength and long, lengthening movements to develop deep core and stabilizing strength. (BIA)
- Pilates Mat Class – Similar to yoga, fluid movements and transitions from one exercise to the next. Class size is limited to 12 participants. (BIA)
- Power Intervals – A circuit of alternating cardio and strength training. Involving power exercises, this class incorporates agility drills and circuit training for the ultimate workout. (IA)
- Silver Sneakers Classic – A variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing, etc. A chair is available if needed for support. (B)
- Seniors Medley – Contains moderately challenging activities to work your muscles, mind and coordination between the two. Class will include strengthening exercises, aerobic conditioning and other types of exciting activities. (BI)
- Triple Threat – An intense, hour-long class that addresses the full body using bars, dumbbells, medicine balls and more. (IA)
- Wakeup Call – A high intensity workout for all fitness levels within a 30-minute window, perfect prior to work. (BIA)
- YOGA – Stimulate both the physical and mental aspects of your body. Yoga provides a combination of motions aimed at challenging and enhancing stability, flexibility and overall control of the body. (BI)
- ZUMBA – Burn calories and tone your body by dancing to hot Latin and exotic world rhythms: Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton and more. (BIA)
- Zumba Strong – Music-led interval training that combines high-intensity interval training with the science of synced music motivation. (IA)
