By now we all know of the challenges facing our community during this unprecedented and uncertain time.
At HeathWorks Rehab & Fitness, we are fully committed to the safety and well-being of our patients, members, employees and communities. That is why we are doing our part to “flatten the curve” and keep our friends and neighbors as healthy as possible.
In order to safeguard our patients and staff, we have taken early precautions and will continue to modify our practices in order to balance providing much needed physical therapy services with reducing the chances of contracting or spreading the virus COVID-19:
The fitness classes in our Morgantown clinic have been canceled indefinitely as of Monday, March 16th, and all fitness operations have been suspended indefinitely since Tuesday March 17th.
PHYSICAL THERAPY APPOINTMENTS:
For the time being we will still remain open for our physical therapy patients. However, our hours of operation are being modified, so please call the HealthWorks physical therapy site where you are treated to confirm.
SOCIAL DISTANCING & OTHER PRECAUTIONS:
Though we always take pride in the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, our patients can feel confident that we are taking extra precautions in terms of the sanitation of all our patient and staff areas.
Additionally, we are looking at creative ways to reach out to our members and provide videos and streaming exercise routines online to remain connected.
HOW YOU CAN HELP FLATTEN THE CURVE:
Health officials agree that the best steps to avoid contracting COVID-19 include:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Cover cough and sneeze with a tissue or the bend of your elbow, not your hands, and use the nearest waste receptacle to dispose of the tissue after use.
- Avoid contact with sick or affected individuals.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched, such as your mobile phone.
- Stay home if you feel sick.
We know this is a trying time for everyone in our community, and we promise to continue to serve our patients in the very best and safest ways possible. Please continue to check our website WWW.HEALTHWORKSRF.COM and our social media channels for more updates as this situation progresses.
Let’s do our best to take care of each other: physically, mentally, and emotionally. We’re all in this together!
