HealthWorks Morgantown is located within the same building as the WVU Spine Center. Our center is located on the top floor and can be easily accessed from the front entrance.

Our Team

Trevor Jones, DPT, ATC, Center Manager

Trevor has been with HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness since 2013. He is a center manager, and started a comprehensive concussion and vestibular rehabilitation program. He completed a specialty vestibular course through Emory University and focused training in concussion and vestibular management at the University of Pittsburgh where he obtained a doctorate of physical therapy. Additionally, he received a bachelor's degree in athletic training from West Virginia University and supervises athletic trainers who cover local high schools. Trevor works with a variety of patients who have orthopedic injuries, balance issues and concussion and vestibular disorders. He has also completed training in functional dry needling.

Jeffrey B. Sandy, P.T., DPT, M.S., LSVT BIG Certified

Jeff has been a physical therapist at HealthWorks since 2017. He works as the regional program director for the ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program. He specializes in oncology, orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular and geriatric/fall prevention rehabilitation. He has certifications in ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation and LSVT BIG for Parkinson's disease. He completed an undergraduate degree at West Virginia University and doctorate of physical therapy from The George Washington University in 2013. He received the outstanding alumni award from The George Washington University in 2017 and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) - West Virginia PT-PTA Team Excellence Award in 2020. He has served on the APTA-West Virginia Board of Directors as the chief delegate to the APTA House of Delegates and is the Ethics Committee Chair. He enjoys traveling, cooking, music and being outdoors.

Christina Marple, P.T., DPT, NCS, LSVT BIG Certified

Tina is passionate about treating patients who have sustained a neurological injury or have been diagnosed with a neurological disease. She is board certified as a neurological clinical specialist and a certified provider in LSVT BIG for Parkinson's disease. She has extensive clinical experience treating all neurological diagnosis, gait and balance dysfunction and vestibular dysfunction.

Nicole Parone, P.T., DPT

Nicole has been a member of Healthworks Rehab and Fitness since 2016. She has worked in the outpatient setting for the entirety of her career treating patients who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine services. Nicole completed her undergraduate education and doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She also has certification in dry needling. Her and her husband have a daughter and a lab/beagle mix.

Ray Adams, P.T.

Ray has worked at HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness since 2001. Ray is an orthopedic certified specialist who earned a master's degree in physical therapy from WVU in 2001. He also has a master's degree in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh and bachelor's degree in athletic training from Marshall University.

Travis Rummel, P.T., DPT, ATC

Travis has worked at Healthworks Rehab and Fitness since 2008. He has over 14 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Travis specializes in treating acute and chronic orthopedic conditions as well as sports medicine. He completed is undergraduate degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, majoring in athletic training, and received a doctorate of physical therapy from Old Dominion University. Travis has additional certifications in instrument-assisted therapy and dry needling. Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys hiking, trout fishing and is an avid sports fan.

Abigail Blake, P.T., DPT

Abigail earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 and doctorate of physical therapy in 2022 at Lebanon Valley College. She joined Select Physical Therapy in May 2022, treating orthopedics, pelvic floor dysfunction and metabolic rehabilitation. She enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring the area and reading a good book.

Karli Browning, PTA

Karli has been associated with Healthworks Rehab and Fitness since 2012, with over 5 years of clinical experience. She has worked in the outpatient and inpatient settings, treating primarily orthopedic patients. Karli completed 4 years at WVU for a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, minors in personal training and group fitness and an emphasis in aquatic rehab. Karli also completed her physical therapy assistant degree at Pierpont Community and Technical College. Karli and her husband have 2 daughters and enjoy raising chickens, gardening and cruising the backroads in their golf cart.

Kristin Feathers, M.S., ATC, PTA

Kristin has been a member of HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness since 2003 with more than 21 years of clinical experience. She has worked in the outpatient, long term care and collegiate sports settings. Kristin treats patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, as well as those with vestibular issues, concussions and sports related injuries. Kristin completed her undergraduate education in athletic training at Ithaca College and received her master's degree in athletic training from West Virginia University, where she was named graduate athletic trainer of the year. She also has her physical therapy assistant degree from Allegany College of Maryland. Kristin spends her free time with her daughter (mostly as a chauffeur!) and enjoying all the state of WV has to offer.

Breanne Shrum, PTA

Breanne has been a member of HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness since 2016 specializing in outpatient setting. Breanne graduated from West Virginia University in 2014 with bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. She also graduated from Penn State University in 2016 as a physical therapy assistant. Breanne and her husband, Connor, have two dogs and a variety of animals on their farm. They also enjoy camping.

Nathan Reynolds, PTA

Nate has been a member of HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness since 2014. He has worked outpatient and inpatient settings throughout his career. Nate completed a degree in physical therapy assistant at Penn State University and bachelor's of exercises science at Kent State University. He also has certification in augmented soft tissue mobilization.

Malachi Marple, P.T., DPT, CSCS

Malachi is a native of Morgantown, WV and recently joined HealthWorks after living in Florida. He has vast experience in treating a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. He has experience and training in amputee rehabilitation and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is a big sports fan, especially WVU.

Audrey Sommers, PTA

Audrey earned a physical therapist assistant degree from Pierpont C&TC in 2018. Since that time she has earned certificates in Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping and is now pursuing pelvic health education. She enjoys treating orthopedic patients of all kinds, but especially likes low back pain. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their pets.

Jacob Nace , PTA

Jacob is originally from Masontown, PA. He earned a bachelor's degree in psych from Bethany College and associate degree from Penn State Fayette. Jacob enjoys treating athletes and orthopedic patients. In his free time, he likes to hunt, fish and play golf.
