Common Questions:

Q-If I have never been in a Precision Cycling class, how would I learn how to get on the bike comfortably?
A-Ask one of the fitness staff for a “Quick Fit”. They will be able to answer any of your questions concerning the cycling class.

Q-How do I sign-up for classes?
A-Sign-up with the fitness receptionist at the main entrance.

Q-What if I am not a good cyclist, would this class be too difficult to finish?
A-No, each individual can set his or her resistance based on his or her own ability and the beat of the music is easy to follow.

Q-I am not a very motivated person, how will this class help me?
A-It is a very motivating class; the instructor will keep you focused on your goal and push you to get the most out of the workout. Also, the entire class is working toward one goal-to finish the class, so your classmates also keep you working toward this goal.

Q-I have heard that the chance of injury is rather high in this class, is this true?
A-No, The Precision Cycling class does not have many injuries, because the participants are kept in a circular motion with the wheel and this lessens the likelihood of injury. Also, proper seat height and initial instruction will further decrease the chance of injury.

Q-How is the V-bike comparable to a regular road bike?
A-It is rather similar; first, the V-bike was built to give the same type of feeling as a road bike. One of the benefits of the V-bike is that you can practice sprints and climbs with the turn of the resistance knob. Second, in the class we only do things you would do on a road bike.
